Agnes Bathje (née Muchow) passed away peacefully on Oct. 6, 2026. Born Jan. 23, 1948 in Chicago to Clarence and Ann Muchow.
Survived by her husband Merritt, their children David (Janice), Cathy (Bill) Skoda, Joseph, Linda (Buddy) Martens, Paul (Erika), Matt (Becky), Steve (Kelly), Ann (Mike) Kalemis, Mary, and Fred (Kathy) and numerous cherished grandchildren.
Agnes was one of six children in a loving family and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Donations in her honor can be made to the Sisters of Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Ohio, or St Joseph School for the Blind, Jersey City, New Jersey.
Services will be held privately.
